Franklin Method Workshops
Experience how your joints work from the inside out as you practice tools for reducing tension and deepening embodiment.
Understanding our body helps us care for it! In each workshop, we’ll learn basic anatomy about the joints we’re focusing on, and then use a variety of tools to experience how our anatomy informs our movement. Tools including imagery, gentle movement, and self-touch enable us to embody our learnings, find healthy alignment and move with ease.
You can expect to leave moving more freely, with a set of tools that you can use on your own without equipment.
Workshops are based on the Franklin Method, an evidence-based somatic method used by physical therapists and movement teachers worldwide, from Cirque du Soleil to Juilliard.
